uniDEM DEM Analysis Tools

uniDEM supports numerous mathematical operations on DEM layers which are helpful during editing, classification and analysis.

Statistics

Calculates statistics and a histogram for the current selection.

Default shortcut: none

Difference

Creates a new DEM containing the difference values between two DEMs for the current selection.

Default shortcut: none

Sum

Creates a new DEM containing the sum values of two DEMs for the current selection.

Default shortcut: none

Slope

Creates a new DEM containing the calculated slope values for the current selection.

Default shortcut: none

Curvature

Creates a new DEM containing the calculated curvature values for the current selection.

Standard Deviation

Calculates a new DEM containing the local standard deviation values for the current selection.

Crop

Extracts the current selection as a new DEM.

Logarithm

Extracts the current selection as a new DEM, applying a log(z) operation to the data.
